All services are managed through the ADHD Global Care Patient Platform.

General Questions:

Yes, we are open to new patients.

Please note that our services are currently available only within the Republic of Ireland.

  • A full assessment diagnosis costs €850.

  • A follow-up session for patients who need a review costs €200.

  • Ongoing care support for existing patients starts from €30.

Sessions are only held online.

ADHD Global Care only does ADHD and ASD assessments.

Yes, licensed psychiatrists can provide full care, including medical management when clinically appropriate.

They are registered to provide treatment only within the Republic of Ireland and cannot offer medical services to patients living in other countries.

Options include psychiatrist-led therapy and, where appropriate, medical management.

You need to have an assessment with an ADHD Global Care doctor, so they can confirm the diagnosis and continue with your treatment.

After booking your appointment, you’ll complete some forms about your background and symptoms to prepare for your assessment.

  • Session 1: You’ll meet online with an assistant psychologist who will review your forms, ask follow-up questions, and complete the DIVA-5 interview (a structured ADHD assessment).

  • Session 2: You’ll meet online with a psychiatrist who will review all the information, carry out the diagnostic assessment, and discuss next steps. This may include treatment recommendations and, if clinically appropriate, the option to begin medication.

If the option to begin medication is clinically appropriate, the psychiatrist will request a physical examination from your GP to confirm it is safe for you to begin treatment.

After starting treatment, you’ll need a follow-up appointment with your psychiatrist to review your progress. 

Once your medication and dosage are stable, you’ll need regular check-ups (with your GP and your psychiatrist) — usually every six months — to continue treatment safely.

Assessments are for new patients who do not have a previous diagnosis by an ADHD Global Care network professional. Follow-up sessions are for ADHD Global Care’s patients who have already been diagnosed and just need a review.

ADHD Global Care professionals do not have any agreement with an insurance/healthcare. However, most patients claim a refund.

GP referrals are not needed to book an appointment.

ADHD Global Care operates Mon–Fri. All administrative services, including booking and requests, are available on weekdays only. Some doctors may have Saturday appointments.

Please note that ADHD Global Care works with adults only (18+). Also, please note that the account must be created in the patient’s name to comply with GDPR regulations. All notifications will be sent to the email address registered on the website.

Our goal is to provide the highest quality services in a timely manner. In order to do so, we have had to implement an appointment cancellation/rescheduling policy. This policy enables us to better utilise available appointments for our clients. Your consideration is greatly appreciated.

Session appointment cancellation/rescheduling policy will be subject to the following fee(s):

More than 7 working days’ notice: No fee. You will be refunded 100% of your deposit.

3–7 working days’ notice: A fee of 50% of your deposit will be charged.

Less than 2 working days’ notice: A fee of 100% of your deposit will be charged.

A “no-show” is someone who misses a scheduled appointment without cancelling or rescheduling in advance. “No-shows” will be charged 100% of our fee.

If you arrive 10 minutes late or more, your appointment time will be reduced by the amount of time you were late to accommodate the next client’s scheduled appointment.
